wanted to work with the experts to create a list that Salesforce users would find helpful.

We asked Jackie Travieso for any app advice that Salesforce Admins would find helpful, she suggests to “Always
install apps in a Sandbox or Dev org before installing in a Production org. Also, if a partner says they can do custom
work for you within their app, have them create a proof of concept in a Sandbox BEFORE signing a contract. It’s
unfortunate and can be costly when a salesperson and an engineer are not in sync with customized capabilities. This is always my best practice approach when pushing an app to its limits and seeking specialized customizations,”

Dale Ziegler imparts words of wisdom, stating, “Any of these apps can be your best friend in helping your users and yourself, don’t be afraid to really dig deep into ALL of their capabilities! The example I always give admins is when I was a solo admin, the SOQL capabilities of the Document Generation apps helped replace a complex system of .csv’s and Access Databases in reviewing data for anomalies to be fixed.
