Agenda

The 3-day Dreamforce event will be chock-full of interesting, thought-provoking and informative sessions…1,154 sessions and counting to be exact! You can check out some of the released sessions here with more to be announced. Sessions can be sorted by Role, Industry, Product, Topic, Session Type, and Session Level and this year’s focus draws heavily from the introduction of generative AI across industries.

Other things you can expect are:

Opening Keynote: Typically kicked off by Marc Benioff, Salesforce’s founder and Co-CEO of Salesforce, to provide insight into the current state of businesses and to share ideas for finding success in a digital-first world.

Breakout Sessions: The unique opportunity to dive deeper into a topic of interest with the speaker and other professionals.

Dreamfest: Time to kick back and enjoy! Every year, Dreamforce hosts an unforgettable concert with big name bands or performers. This year will feature the Foo Fighters! And the best part? These performances benefit the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital!

True to the Core: Have a question about Salesforce you’ve been dying to ask? This is where you’ll get all your answers! True to the Core is an interactive Q&A session where Salesforce executives answer juicy questions about Salesforce.

Visit the Campground: Located on-site, the Campground is a one stop shop for all things industry, products, customers and more distributed across 25K square feet!

Hotels & Accommodations

Typically, Salesforce’s Dreamforce event sees a lot of people (last year there were an estimated 40,000+ participants!) With attendees flocking to downtown San Francisco in just under a month, the competition to find a place to stay is going to start getting very tight very quickly. Salesforce has reserved hotel blocks around San Francisco and guests will have the option to book a room during the Dreamforce registration within the hotel section. Please note that inventory is limited, available on a first-come, first-booked basis, and Salesforce’s discounted rates are only available until Friday, August 18, 2023, so book now!

Other Options:

Hotels are understandably booking up quickly, so if you were unable to secure a room through the Salesforce hotel block, consider one of these options:

Hotel Comparison Sites:

Alternatives:
Cheaper, more accessible options include online services that let property owners rent out their spaces to travelers:

Note: When all else fails, look outside San Francisco! The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) public transportation system can take you directly to the Moscone convention center – check out station locations for real time departures, schedules, parking, connecting transit, and station updates. Remember, you can also Uber or Lfyt as well!

Dreamforce After Parties

The Salesforce Ohana knows better than anyone that life is about balance, which is why no work conference would be complete without some play! And there will certainly be no shortage of amazing parties hosted by Salesforce Consulting and AppExchange partners. Check out Salesforce Ben’s full list of parties that you can sign up for right now!

Dreamforce Do’s and Don’ts

The most important thing you can do at Dreamforce is have fun and learn! However, here are some other helpful tips to keep in mind:

Do
  • Bring a charging cable/portable charger, trust us – you’ll need it! Between snapping photos, videos, taking notes, looking up sessions and entering in new contacts, your battery is likely to drain very quickly. It’s best to come prepared!
  • Wear comfortable shoes…seriously. While it’s important to look nice, it’s also important to be there 100%, which you can’t do if you’ve got a set of mean blisters. When you’re not sitting in sessions, it’s likely that you’ll be walking from booth to booth, across venues and more. The Moscone convention center is a huge venue, and you don’t want to spoil your time with sore feet!
  • While we’re on the topic of attire, be sure to bring a jacket. San Francisco is notorious for being chilly…in fact, American author Mark Twain once stated that “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” With temperatures often dipping 50 degrees fahrenheit at night, you’ll be thanking us for that extra layer!
  • It’s always a good idea to have a copy of the Dreamforce sessions you’d want to attend printed out, this not only is easily accessible but helps to prevent draining your cell battery as well.
  • Bring your business cards! This is one of the biggest networking opportunities in the world afterall, you’ll want to have plenty on your person at all times.
  • Finally, bring a notepad and pen, it can be helpful to quickly jot down names, products, services and ideas during this inspirational event.
Don’t
  • Try to keep distractions to a minimum; don’t forget to silence your cell phone and disable any frequent notifications so you can immerse yourself fully in the Dreamforce experience.
  • This is a big one…don’t forget to test your technology before attending! For the most seamless experience, make sure your phone, laptop and any other devices are working properly. There’s nothing worse than getting where you need to be and encountering time consuming technical difficulties.
  • Finally, don’t forget to download the “Salesforce Events” application available on IOS and Android. The Salesforce Events app is the best way to stay connected to everything happening while you are onsite at any Salesforce event. Use the app to personalize your schedule, view sponsor profiles, and stay connected throughout the event.
Access Global Group’s Involvement with Dreamforce

Vamsi Bollineni, CEO of Access Global Group, is a two-time Dreamforce CTI Session Speaker and can attest to the importance of events like these. Dreamforce allows attendees to not only understand what’s happening in the Salesforce ecosystem currently but what it’ll likely look like in the future as well. Vamsi had the honor of speaking at Dreamforce in 2012 and 2013, when there were only a hundred or so speakers invited. Even then, Vamsi recollects the importance of having a gathering place for innovative people. In addition to getting an insider’s look and feel on new products and their granular details, participants of Dreamforce gain the invaluable experience of knowing that with the right people and resources, there is no limit to what is possible.
