Salesforce’s Plans for 2022

Salesforce co-CEO’s Marc Benioff and Bret Taylor kicked off the event by summarizing their goals for the future. In recognition of recent conflicts with the pandemic and climate change, they want to help more businesses become platforms for generating change. Thus, this year Salesforce has added sustainability as one of their core values. With this, they have three things they’d like to achieve:

  • Becoming Net Zero
  • Continue partnering with 1T.org to aid in their mission of planting one trillion trees
  • To inspire and energize ecopreneur business endeavors

The Salesforce team knows that the world we live in today is much different from the world we knew two years ago. With most Salesforce employees now working from home, Benioff and Taylor are reevaluating what is relevant in the lives of their customers. Ultimately, this will be achieved by building a future that works for everyone. Salesforce hints that in 2022, customers can expect to see a lot more new tools and technologies that cultivate an environment for success. Some of which is to include a further emphasis on digital HQ’s that will enable organizations to deliver customer and employee success from anywhere; as well as deploying Hyperforce, a new infrastructure architecture that unifies the foundations of the various clouds and allows Salesforce to scale rapidly and securely using public cloud partners.
