1999 – Meet SaaSy
Back when Salesforce was in its infancy, Marc Benioff was thinking up ways to make software easier to purchase and simpler to use. Thus, the NO SOFTWARE concept took effect and Salesforce’s original mascot, SaaSy, was born. Every now and then, SaaSy can be spotted at Salesforce events – keep your eyes peeled for their appearance!

2014 – Meet Astro Nomical
Back in 2014, where Salesforce was prepping for Developer Week; they wanted to present a T-shirt to all participating developers, but it had to be something memorable. Domenique Sillet Buxton, now Salesforce’s VP, Executive Creative Director for the Trailblazer ecosystem and brand, began working on a concept inspired by the early MTV-inspired “moon landing” graphic. After many “no’s,” she and then-office manager Rochelle Truong, created a graphic featuring an astronaut….and the rest was history!
Fun Fact: Did you know that the reason Astro wears so many different costumes is because they want to encourage you to become anything you dream of?
