While for many of us winter has only just begun to settle in, Salesforce has already started looking forward to Spring, and their newest release is just around the corner. We’ll take a look at what that means and what to expect from the Spring 2022 release.

When is the Salesforce Spring ‘22 Release Date?

Release dates are dependent on the Salesforce instance your org is currently running. If you know which instance you’re on, visit Salesforce Trust and click “Maintenance;” this will tell you when the Spring ‘22 release will reach your org. If you don’t know which instance you’re on – no worries! Salesforce’s main release dates are:

• January 15th, 2022
• February 5th, 2022
• February 12th, 2022

Spring ‘22 Pre-Release

The pre-release will become available on December 16th, 2021. This is a great way to become familiar with the new release before it takes effect.

Spring ‘22 Sandbox Preview

Sandboxes will likely be updated on January 7th, 2022. This is important as this is the first time you will get to test your system on the new release.

What can be expected?

Salesforce has kept any Spring ‘22 features underwraps but we’ll have a better idea of what is to be expected on December 22nd when their Spring ‘22 Release Notes are published.
